We are the Church of God
Our identity is established in the Holy Bible We are the household of faith, the home of the redeemed, The blood-washed ones, the ship of Zion, the flock of the Great Shepherd, The called out people, members of the Church of the First-Born, New Jerusalem waiting to come down out of heaven, The city set on a hill that cannot and will not be hidden from the earth, The bride adorned for her husband, the spotless virgin awaiting The arrival of the bridegroom We are the Church of God
We are the Church of God We believe in Unity, Holiness, and Heaven. We preach the unity of the faith, holiness of lifestyle, And heaven as the eternal home of the redeemed. God’s unity binds us together in love for Jesus Christ and one another. If you are saved by God’s grace, you are my brother and my sister. Holy Spirit sanctification equips us to live holy and blameless in this present world, And calls us to mission to win the lost. We look for the eternal day wherein we will live in the house Jesus has gone to prepare We are the Church of God
We are the Church of God There are some attributes to which we do not ascribe We are not a religion among other religions, nor are we a mere Church among churches. We are not an alternative lifestyle, a sect, or denomination. We are a reformation movement within the greater movement Of God’s universal Church. The Church that Jesus built and purchased with His own blood. The Church wherein we were born again to become a member. And that Church wherein our names are written down in the Lamb’s book of life To declare our membership status. We are the Church of God
We are not sinners saved by grace. We are CHRISTIANS, saved from and living in victory over sin. We once were sinners, but now we are saved. We once were blind, but now we see. Christ paid the ultimate price to save us from our sin And we do not live any longer under sin’s dominion. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed, And we are free in Him We are the Church of God
We are the Church of God We live here, ‘in’ but not ‘of’ this world. We live here, in the fullness and present reality of the Kingdom of God. As joint heirs with Jesus Christ, He is our Lord of Lords and King of Kings. It is a Kingdom of peace and it shall ever increase in our souls We possess it right here when He saves us from sin. Our citizenship is here, and eternal with Him. We live here, under the banner of the name given by Jesus and Ascribed repeatedly in the New Testament We are the Church of God
We are the Church of God We are the current generation continuing to earnestly contend for the faith Once delivered to the saints. We are the current generation of Reformation Movement, recalling our heritage, And taking our place in the long line of the faithful among leaders such as Warner, Warren, Smith, Riggle, and McCutcheon. We are the current generation, committed to doing our part To keep the Movement moving! We are the current generation devoted to preaching and re-preaching, Teaching and re-teaching the biblical doctrines Whereby God called us into existence WE ARE THE CHURCH OF GOD
